Handmade and individually crafted wigs require time and attention to detail, making them a long-term investment. Wigs can vary in construction, from fully ventilated designs, where each hair is meticulously hand-knotted into a Swiss lace custom-fit base, to those with partial or minor ventilation combined with wefts.

Our step-by-step guide outlines what to expect throughout our custom hairpiece creation process.

If you decide a custom wig or hairpiece is right for you, get in touch to book a paid consultation.
We charge $100 for a 1-hour consult, where Rachel will get to know your individual needs, and provide valuable advice and expertise on the best approach for you. Check out our FAQs for more info.
Consultations can be done via video call or in person, if suitable.
We will discuss style, length, colour and hair texture, and match to your hair as closely as possible. Sometimes a small sample of you own hair will be requested to keep on file during the creation process, for our reference.
Following your consultation, we will email you a quote that includes any options discussed during our session.

If you’re happy to proceed with our quote, simply confirm by replying to our email and attaching proof of your deposit payment.
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required before we commence work, as our wigs are individually handcrafted and cannot be resold.

Once you've chosen the wig or hairpiece that best suits you, we'll proceed with taking your head measurements. This can be done together via video call, or if location permits, we can arrange an in-person session for a head mould and measurement fitting.

Using your head measurements, we will handcraft your custom-made Swiss lace base.
We take great care to ensure the base is perfectly fitted before beginning the hair wefting or ventilation process, guaranteeing the exact fit you need.
It’s great if the fitting can be done in person, but it can also be done via video call with a friend or family member there to assist.
If choosing a video call fitting, we will send the base to you via courier, and arrange to have it collected once the fitting is complete.

Your fabulous new piece is ready!
Once your wig or hairpiece is finished, we carefully package and deliver it to your chosen address. Insurance for your delivery is available, and a quote will be provided prior to posting.
You can then visit your preferred stylist for the final touches. Alternatively, you can book a final fitting with us, where Rachel will style your new piece to perfection.
