The majority of wigs are made in India, China and South East Asia, even the ones that are sold in Australia and the US.
In these countries wigs are mass produced in less than favourable conditions with workers being paid a pittance for their painstaking labour.
We are committed to maintaining ethical and sustainable standards in the creation of each piece. While ethically sourced materials come at a higher cost, we believe knowing that your hair is responsibly sourced and can be worn with pride far outweighs the price difference.

The process of ventilating hair means that each hair must be hand knotted. To provide an idea of how long this takes, a good wig maker can knot 2 square cms of hair in 1 hour.
If you are having hand made wefts to reduce the size of the area being ventilated, it will still take approximately 1 hour to knot 25cm of wefts.
-
Yes, you can combine pre made wefts with ventilated areas - usually around the hairline and part line. The less ventilating you do, the cheaper the wig, however by doing this there is less natural movement to the wig.
