At Mr Walker’s Wiggery, we are dedicated to operating with an environmentally sustainable and ethical approach. We understand that the hair loss and hair extension industry often faces criticism, which is why we strive to do things differently.

Donations

We rely heavily on generous hair donations to create wigs and hairpieces for those experiencing medical hair loss, including individuals with alopecia, trichotillomania, or long-term hair loss due to illness or treatment. If you’re considering donating your hair to help others in need, please contact us for more information.

Our ethical suppliers

While we are incredibly grateful for the donations we receive, sometimes the hair provided isn't long enough or sufficient for the requirements of individual clients. In these cases, we turn to our trusted ethical suppliers, who harvest hair responsibly. By supporting these suppliers, we help provide an income for women living below the poverty line, allowing them to earn a fair wage for their ponytail donations.

At Mr Walker’s Wiggery, we exclusively source hair from two ethical suppliers: one in Ukraine, where we obtain the finest European and Slavic hair, and another in Asia, which supplies hair from China, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Thailand.

We understand that ethical sourcing comes with a higher cost, which is reflected in our pricing. However, we believe the value of knowing that your hair is ethically sourced and will be worn with pride, far outweighs the price difference.
